The US semiconductor industry is going through dramatic change. On the back of rising demand for its products, companies in this sector have outperformed in the past five years whether they are in the design, distribution, manufacture or sale of semiconductors as measured by the PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index.
The rise of cloud computing and the Internet of Things have been among the key drivers of growth for the industry; demand for ever smaller and more powerful chips have been a feature.
Whilst the sector has not been spared from supply constraints given the impact of the global pandemic in the past two years, a new phase of growth is unfolding.
What are the new opportunities to emerge? And what are some of the drivers of growth? How resilient is the industry now compared to the pre-pandemic period?
To address these issues and to identify the new trends and opportunities, log on to Asia Asset Management’s webinar in partnership with Nasdaq on August 17 at 9.30am -10.30 am Taipei time. (Webinar will be conducted in Chinese)
